Human Handoff: Configurable Duration

We’ve just rolled out an exciting update to improve your control over human handoff timing! You can now configure the handoff delay for live agents, providing you with more flexibility on when human support steps in.

Key Features:

  • Configurable Delay: Set the delay time for when a handoff to a live agent occurs.
  • Specify Days of the Week: Choose specific days when human handoff is allowed.
  • Set Time Ranges: Define time ranges during which handoff can be triggered.

With this update, outside of the defined days and times, the handoff will not be triggered. Instead, the AI agent will continue responding automatically. This feature ensures handoffs happen only when your team is available, optimizing efficiency and improving your user experience.
