☎️ Phone Numbers

The Phone Numbers page is where you manage all inbound phone lines for your ChatAgentLab voice agents — including buying new numbers, activating existing lines, and connecting external numbers through Twilio.

ChatAgentLab uses Twilio as the underlying carrier, giving you reliable global coverage and access to phone numbers in most countries.

1. Purchasing a New Number

You can purchase phone numbers directly inside ChatAgentLab.

How to buy a number:

1. Go to the Phone Numbers tab in your dashboard.
2. Click + Purchase Numbers.
3. Select your Country (e.g., United States, Canada, Australia).
4. (Optional) Use Number Pattern to search for specific digits or area codes.
5. Browse available numbers by region and monthly price.
6. Click Purchase on the number you want.

Once purchased, the number appears under Active Numbers, ready to be assigned to any AI Voice Agent.

💡 Tip: U.S. and Canadian numbers typically start around $1.70–$2.00/month depending on availability.

2. Using External Numbers (Twilio Integration)

If ChatAgentLab does not offer direct purchasing in your country, you can connect your own Twilio number.

How it works:

• Register a phone number directly inside your Twilio account
• Connect Twilio to ChatAgentLab
• Your Twilio number becomes available for your AI Voice Agents to use

This gives you full flexibility for regions where direct purchasing is not supported.
